Same Driveways, New Pours: Livermore Valley's 2026 Tasting-Room Shuffle

October 29, 2026

When you last turned up the drive at 2400 Arroyo Road, whose wine was on the counter? If your answer is Cuda Ridge, the room has changed owners since then. Cuda Ridge now pours inside Concannon Vineyard on Tesla Road. Cellar 13 has its first tasting room in the old Arroyo Road space. Down Tesla Road, the former Steven Kent space at Home Ranch has belonged to Shanti Winery since spring, and Steven Kent has said it is coming back to that property.

Each of these moves made the news by itself. Together they mean that between April and the coming weeks, three well-known Livermore Valley properties have changed what's poured there, and most of us still have the old names in our heads. The November calendar and the December 5–6 Holidays in the Vineyards weekend will be the first real test of the new map.

The three addresses, then and now

Address What locals remember What's pouring there now
2400 Arroyo Road Cuda Ridge Winery Cellar 13 Winery, open since September 2026
Concannon Vineyard, Tesla Road Concannon's wine-club room Cuda Ridge tasting room, open since August 1, 2026
5443 Tesla Road, Home Ranch Steven Kent Winery Shanti Winery, open since April 2026, with a separate Steven Kent room announced

The chain started with an ownership change. Tom and Paige Lemmons of Lemmons Family Vineyards bought Concannon from The Wine Group in November 2024. A year and a half later, they bought Cuda Ridge from founders Larry and Margie Dino, according to Pleasanton Weekly. That freed up the Arroyo Road room, and the rest followed from there.

Arroyo Road: Cellar 13 takes the old Cuda Ridge room

Cellar 13 is new to having a room of its own, but its wine isn't new. Darin Winton has been making it since 2017, and he and Gail Henderson used to pour it at Swirl on the Square downtown and at winemaker dinners, Pleasanton Weekly reported. The brand began as a side project while Winton was working with his mentor Steve Burman of 3 Steves. The Mercury News reported that club members got a soft opening September 19–20 at 2400 Arroyo Road, with the first public weekend planned for September 26–27.

It's set up differently from most rooms in the valley. There's one tasting, $20 for two whites, two reds and a bonus pour. The main room has been renovated and the patio refreshed and expanded. Henderson told the Mercury News they plan weekend watch parties for games and occasional live music. Pleasanton Weekly says comedy shows and patio music are planned for spring.

Cellar 13's listing on the Livermore Valley Winegrowers Association site shows Thursday and Saturday from noon to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. The Friday entry gives only a noon start, so check before planning a Friday visit.

Concannon's courtyard: where Cuda Ridge went

Cuda Ridge didn't go far. Its new room is in Concannon's former wine-club space, across the courtyard from the main tasting entrance. That puts Larry Dino's Bordeaux-style wines, including the Cabernet Franc the winery is known for, a few steps from the Concannon Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah. Pleasanton Weekly mentioned that some of the decor from the Arroyo Road room may make the trip, including photos of the 1970 Plum Crazy Purple Plymouth Barracuda the winery is named after.

According to Cuda Ridge's site, the room is open daily: Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Friday through Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bookings go through Concannon's Tock page. Those weekday hours make it one of the easier stops for a Tuesday afternoon.

That changes what a single stop at Concannon covers. You can taste two wineries' lineups on one property. A locally owned Pedego e-bike rental sits behind the Concannon tasting room building, and Concannon runs Second Sundays with Kids on the lawn each month. Its sold-out Late Pour Comedy Night happens monthly in the Members' Estate Room. Pleasanton Weekly also reported that the hospitality team plans indoor tribute-band shows when the weather turns cooler.

Home Ranch: one property, two wineries ahead

The Tesla Road piece is still settling. Ray and Dimple Sharma, who live in San Ramon, bought the 8-acre Home Ranch in 2024. They renovated the former Steven Kent Winery space and opened their second Shanti tasting room in April. Shanti offers three tastings. Peace is all whites, Harmony mixes whites and reds, and Joy is all reds. Monthly yoga classes are taught by Livermore instructors, and the monthly comedy shows regularly sell out. "We do not hurry guests. There are no time limits once you set the reservation time," Dimple Sharma told Pleasanton Weekly. The Sharmas also told the paper they expect to start making wine on site in about a year, using Cabernet Sauvignon, Barbera and Sangiovese from the estate vineyard.

Steven Kent is the next change. In July, California Wines & Wineries reported that Steven Kent Winery had announced a move back to Home Ranch in fall 2026, with its own tasting room on the property where Shanti now pours. A late-August post shown on the winery's Steven Kent on 2nd page narrowed the timing to November. No street address or opening date has been published yet. The winery's association listing still shows its main room at 2245 South Vasco Road, Suite C, open Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. For now, plan on Vasco Road, and watch the winery's channels for the Tesla Road opening.

The downtown spot isn't moving. Steven Kent on 2nd, Steven and Beth Mirassou's patio wine lounge at 209 McLeod Street, opened on Valentine's Day this year. It pours rotating library and small-lot wines by the glass and bottle, first come, first served, and posts its hours on Instagram.

The November calendar, with the new map in mind

From the Livermore Valley Winegrowers Association's November calendar and the wineries' own pages, here's what's left after this week:

  1. Saturday, November 7: 3 Steves holds its November Harvest Club release pick-up party from 1 to 4:30 p.m. That's the winery where Cellar 13's winemaker learned the trade, so it pairs naturally with an afternoon on Arroyo Road.
  2. Thursday, November 12: McGrail Vineyards hosts "Gather, Gobble, Cheers" from 7 to 9 p.m. at 5600 Greenville Road. Tickets are $75 for a guided pairing of five wines and cheeses.
  3. Friday, November 13: Wente's Friendsgiving Dinner runs from 6 to 10 p.m.
  4. Saturday, November 14: Pruett Estate Winery's Fall Release Party runs from noon to 5 p.m. at 5385 East Avenue. Admission is free, with two new releases and food for purchase. Wente's Five Generations pairing is at noon the same day and again on November 21.
  5. Saturday, November 21: Downtown's Earlier Than the Bird pajama shopping morning runs from 7 to 10 a.m. at Livermorium Plaza and around downtown, with a gift drive for Tri-Valley Haven.
  6. Sunday, November 22: Wente's Cresta Blanca cave tour and tasting runs from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
  7. Saturday, November 28: McGrail opens its tasting room after Thanksgiving with live music and food trucks.

December 5–6: the first big weekend on the new map

The association's Holidays in the Vineyards runs Saturday and Sunday, December 5–6, from noon to 4:30 p.m. Admission is free, and each winery sets its own tasting fees. The association says the list of participating wineries and their activities is still to come. So far, 3 Steves has posted mulled wine and vendors for the weekend, and Pruett Estate has a free holiday event on December 5.

This is the first Holidays in the Vineyards with Cuda Ridge at Concannon and Cellar 13 on Arroyo Road. Both new rooms already took part in October's TASTE: The Livermore Valley Wine Experience, two of the 25 wineries pouring. If Steven Kent opens at Home Ranch on its announced November timeline, a stop on Tesla Road that weekend could also be its first chance to pour next to Shanti. Once the activity sheet is posted, check who is where before you leave, because some of the names have new driveways.

The same Saturday ends downtown. The Holiday Sights & Sounds Parade starts at 6 p.m. on First Street, with the tree lighting right after. Livermore Downtown Inc.'s parade-details page says the parade ends at Lizzie Fountain, across from Flag Pole Plaza, though the 2026 route map is still marked as coming soon.

A property changing hands, from a historic estate to a small Arroyo Road tasting room, has a way of reshuffling the whole street around it. That's the part of Livermore Valley I follow most closely.
